It seems hard to believe that 2012 is coming to a close. I'm not going to lie...I am not all that sad to see it go. This year has been a very trying one for my family. I came into this year with very high hopes. After all, my favorite number has always been 12. It is also my husband's favorite, so 20
12 was certainly going to be
our year. While there have been many difficulties this year, in many ways it has also been a good one. I started this blog and opened a TpT store. My husband and I both have good jobs. We have two beautiful, healthy girls who make everything worthwhile. We are blessed in many ways.
I have had a chance to reflect this week on the past year and what my hopes are for the coming year. My Currently thoughts have helped this reflection as well.
My One Little Word is very important to me this year. Instead of going into 2013 with high expectations, I am going to choose Faith.
Faith in myself...in my abilities, my creativity, and my strength.
Faith in my family. Together we are strong.
Faith in my teaching buddies. They are a great support system!
Faith in this blog. Faith that people are actually listening to what I have to say. Faith that it will grow to be what I know is possible.
Faith in my future. Things are bound to get better.
Faith in the journey. I know that there is a reason and a purpose to everything that happens.
I also want to take the opportunity to thank each and everyone of you who stops by this little 'ol blog of mine. And thank you to everyone who has purchased my very first product on TpT. This week has been very exciting for sales. Every time I get an update that I have sold another, it warms my heart. Thank you all very much for your Faith in me!!
Here's to a very blessed New Year for us all!
I'm your newest follower! Faith can carry us through so much in our lives. I pray that this year will be a very blessed one for you and your family.

DeleteI am in the same boat as you are in the fact that I don't go back until the 7th! I cherishing every last minute, and putting off grading those essays that are in my bag! Ugh! I have to get busy on them before Monday, though! I look forward to following and exploring your blog more! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I am now starting to feel the minutes before 8:20 on Monday morning slipping away. I still have so many things to accomplish before then. I, too, have a ton of papers that I should be grading since report cards go out the following week! Yikes! Enjoy your last two days!
